Meet Denine Rogers
I am Denine Rogers, MS, RDN, LD, FAND, a licensed Integrative & Functional Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Passionate Herbalist, Avid Gardener, Cultural Appreciation Fighter, Aromatherapy Enthusiast and Wellness Coach. For many years, I have been suffering from many health issues prior to being involved in integrative medicine. The health issues that I was having were severe pains from fibroid tumors, low iron levels, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. I began my quest in changing my health by becoming an Integrative and Functional Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, herbalist, and wellness coach. By doing this, I have changed my eating habits, started an exercise regimen, cooking healthy meals and incorporated a positive low-stress lifestyle.
Since I have been making these changes in my life, I noticed that people were wondering what I was doing. I decided that it was time to start spreading the word about the importance of health and nutrition. I became the owner of Living Healthy which is a unique nutrition, health and wellness consulting business. I provide a patient-centered approach to evidence based practice and recommendations.
Now I have been going through a new chapter in my life which is menopause. I have been using positive evidence based proven integrative and functional nutritional medicine approaches to relieve my hot flashes, weight gain, gastrointestinal issues and many more.
Being a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) woman, I notice that there are not many cultural nutrition holistic approach programs that are assisting women of color in the age ranges of 40 and up that are going through perimenopause and menopause. I want to change this by providing a safe space for “seasoned women of color” like myself who would understand our health issues as we navigate this new stage of life.
Remember that you are not alone, and yes there are positive changes that menopause can bring to your life. Let us take this journey together!
"I want to help you discover the healthy and positive side of eating and living well while developing a confident self-image."
Make sure to connect with me today!
